The Team

We have a small dedicated team who make up the core members.  These are a retired School Principal, a retired bus driver, a retired farmer and a retired small businessman.  They couldn't be more different in background, yet they share one common attribute, they are all committed to seeing SBS15 run 'in service' moving people around Whiteman Park, before the end of 2017.

Seat Restoration

Initially, there were no seats in SBS15 when it was acquired by BPSWA and very few seats from this period could be found. After considerable searching a donor vehicle of the same era was located in Byford with a few seats still intact.
Have a look at how far the seat restoration has progressed.

Volunteer and become a team member.
Do you have a little time on your hands?  Why not consider 'trying out' for the team?  They meet every Tuesday and on some Thursdays to work on the bus. Start is around 7am, morning tea around 9.30am and lunch is at 12.00pm.  We don't work all day, we pack-up around 2.30pm so we can miss the heavy commuter traffic.  Why not come out and have a tour of the workshops and meet the blokes. If you can make it on Tuesday, any Tuesday, just turn up, grab a coffee and make some new friends.  You will be very welcome!  Thursdays you will need to contact the group to make sure the Workshop is active on the day you would like to turn up.
