All About the Bus Preservation Society of WA (Inc)

Our Vision

The Bus Preservation Society of Western Australia envisions a future where the rich history of the state’s public and private transport is preserved, celebrated, and shared for generations to come. Through the sourcing, restoration, conservation and display of historic buses and bus artefacts we strive to create a lasting connection between the past and present, inspiring a deep appreciation for our transport heritage.

By fostering community engagement, inclusivity, education, and collaboration, we aim to be the leading organisation dedicated to preserving and showcasing Western Australia’s historic buses and related transport artefacts - such as equipment, engines, photos, signage, uniforms, documents and more. Through these efforts, we ensure these iconic vehicles and historical treasures remain a living legacy for future enthusiasts and the wider public.

Our Mission

To operate a Nationally recognised, working collection of buses, preserving and presenting the social and engineering heritage of historic buses used in Western Australian for the enjoyment of visitors, the public and for the benefit and education of future generations.
