Stockland Whiteman Edge awards BPSWA a Community Grant of $1000 in Support of the restoration of SBS15

Stockland Whiteman Edge is very pleased to confirm that Bus Preservation Society of WA (Inc) has been selected as a Stockland Community Grant Recipient for 2016. 
As discussed, in recognition of the invaluable contribution Bus Preservation Society of WA (Inc)  makes to the local Whiteman Edge community, Bus Preservation Society of WA (Inc)  will be awarded a $1,000 Stockland community grant. 
Stockland Whiteman Edge would like to thank  Bus Preservation Society of WA (Inc) for taking the time to apply for a Stockland community grant and for your continued efforts to positively contribute to the local Whiteman Edge community.

THE BUS PRESERVATION SOCIETY OF WA WINS COMMUNITY HERITAGE GRANT

BPSWA wins a further Community Heritage Grant in 2014, to carry out a Preservation Needs Assessment

The Bus Preservation Society of WA (BPSWA] was awarded a $4,400 federal Community Heritage Grant to fund a Significance Assessment of the Collection of Public Transport Buses and other Memorabilia.  The grant was announced in Canberra on 30 October, 2012.  This was acquitted in November 2013 with the submission of a substantial assessment document and resulted in the collection being classified as of National Significance.

The Bus Preservation Society of WA was awarded a second federal Community Heritage Grant to fund a Preservation Needs Assessment of the Collection of Public Transport Buses and other Memorabilia.  The grant of $4,400 was to assess the preservation, storage, handling and management of the collection around which a management plan could be constructed and processes implemented to ensure the long term preservation of the Society's collection of Buses and other memorabilia.
